Chiller Room Relocation

Our client needed their chiller room decommissioned, relocated, and rebuilt in their new, more expansive premises. It was a task that required precision, efficiency, and expertise.

We completed the job in under a week and were thrilled to receive great feedback from our client. They not only expressed satisfaction with the relocation and reconstruction process but also went so far as to commend us on the improved appearance of the chiller room. Commenting that it looked better after we rebuilt it than it did to start with.

Cold Room Build

We were recently commissioned to transform an old office into a cold room for a local farm. They distribute premium quality meat to caterers throughout the London area, so it needed to be designed around their unique requirements.

We created a self-contained cold room, which has a large front door and an insulated sliding door at the rear, which leads to the prep area. It also boasts access hatches for the electrical boards, for ease. We also used fire resistant Hemsec insulated panels, which have a food safe, PVC laminated finish.

Design & Build of Walk in Freezer

Following the initial consultation and site survey with our client, we designed, built and commissioned a walk in freezer room capable of achieving temperatures in excess of -20 degrees, this would be used in the process of manufacturing carbon fibre parts for formula one cars. We utilised a 100mm Quadcore insulated panel system, the core is environmentally sustainable closed cell PIR insulation which is non-deleterious with Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (Zero ODP). We paired the build with a KD Scroll condensing unit with a Kevlon evaporator to include electric defrost functionality, finally we installed a state of the art Emmerson control panel system with XWEB PRO delivering a full suite of temperature supervisory and monitoring capabilities.

Ventilation System Replacement

We were commissioned by the managing agents of a block of flats to replace three existing extraction/ventilation systems.

For this project we utilised Nuaire AVT4-R & AVT5-R units, these are external twin fan units with integrated run and standby EC fan/motor assemblies. Double skinned Aluzinc construction for low breakout noise levels. EC technology provides low SFP's to achieve L2 Building Regulations. 12-hour auto duty share & changeover. Built in motorised anti-recirculation damper to prevent air from recirculating.

Walk in Freezer Installation

We were selected by a new client to build them a walk in freezer. After taking all measurements during the initial site survey, we utilised every millimetre of space available to construct a freezer cold room with dimensions of 2.6m x 2.3m x 2.2m (LxWxH).  The client had an existing Danfoss condenser which we matched with a new quad fan KD evaporator to achieve a temperature of -20.  The room was built with 100mm insulated panels (Floor. Ceiling & Walls), the floor was finished with a checker plate covering, as standard on all of our freezer cold room builds we also supplied and installed a heated door frame and a pressure relief vent.

New Cold Store & Chiller Pod

Elite Frozen Foods commissioned us to design, supply, install and maintain a new cold store with a dedicated twenty pallet chiller pod. This project started with a new heated concrete floor built to our specification, we supplied and installed all new thermal efficient panels, rapid rise doors and efficient LED lighting.  This was controlled by a bespoke distribution board that was designed and built in house by our own team, finally, the project was powered by state of the art housed condensing units.

Cold Store Refurbishment

We were commissioned to carry out a full refurbishment of an existing freezer cold store with the ambition of improving thermal insulation and fire rating.  We supplied and installed new panels and equipment to ensure the highest levels of thermal efficiency, this delivers lower overall running costs and a reduced Global Warming Potential (GWP).  In addition, we installed new LED lighting and bay lights, this project was completed on time and within budget.
