We were selected by a new client to build them a walk in freezer. After taking all measurements during the initial site survey, we utilised every millimetre of space available to construct a freezer cold room with dimensions of 2.6m x 2.3m x 2.2m (LxWxH). The client had an existing Danfoss condenser which we matched with a new quad fan KD evaporator to achieve a temperature of -20. The room was built with 100mm insulated panels (floor, ceiling & walls), the floor was finished with a checker plate covering, as standard on all of our freezer cold room builds we also supplied and installed a heated door frame and a pressure relief vent.
