Following the initial consultation and site survey with our client, we designed, built and commissioned a walk in freezer room capable of achieving temperatures in excess of -20 degrees. This would be used in the process of manufacturing carbon fibre parts for formula one cars. We utilised a 100mm Quadcore insulated panel system, the core is environmentally sustainable closed cell PIR insulation which is non-deleterious with Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (Zero ODP). We paired the build with a KD Scroll condensing unit with a Kevlon evaporator to include electric defrost functionality, finally we installed a state of the art Emmerson control panel system with XWEB PRO delivering a full suite of temperature supervisory and monitoring capabilities.
