Job Description
Location: Hailsham (East Sussex) Covering Sussex, Kent & Surrey.
Salary: £Negotiable depending on experience.
About the role:
- Repair, servicing, installation and maintenance of transport refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and electrical faults
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine servicing
- Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, pressure testing and charging
- Electrical fault finding and testing
- Working on refrigeration systems fitted to vans, trucks and trailers
- Carrying out breakdown and emergency repair work
- Completing service reports and job sheets accurately
- Liaising professionally with customers while working on site
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Supporting other members of the engineering team when required
- Experience & Qualifications
What We’re Looking For::
- Several years' experience working with transport refrigeration systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Good refrigeration and electrical knowledge
- F-Gas qualification
- Experience working on systems such as Carrier, Thermo King, Zanotti, Hubbard, Webasto or similar would be advantageous
- Experience with diesel-powered refrigeration systems would be beneficial
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication and organisational skills
